The Istanbul Music Festival announces for its 48th edition a major artistic and public success. The festival hosted more than 500 local and international artists from 21 countries throughout 20 days, with 25 concerts in 17 different venues in Istanbul between 23 May and 12 June 2018. The concerts were attended by more than 16.000 people and had an occupancy rate of 97%.
Among the artists were Mischa Maisky, Diana Damrau, Güher and Süher Pekinel, Baiba and Lauma Skride, Daniel Harding, Daniil Trifonov, Joyce DiDonato.
