The St. Louis Symphony (St. Louis, Missouri) announced significant increases in both attendance and ticket revenue during its 2015-2016 season. Live at Powell Hall concerts – which feature non-classical presentations, movies, musical tributes and events, reached record attendance and ticket sales. In addition, single ticket sales for Classical concerts increased by almost 7% from the 2014-2015 season.

Ticket sales for all concerts rose to $6.87 million, compared to $6.62 million in the previous season, an increase of 3.8%. Although there were three fewer concerts in FY16, attendance figures rose to 190,817, an increase of more than 1% from FY15. This attendance increase is especially notable with the cancellation of two education concerts—the popular concert series for local schoolchildren—due to inclement weather.
